Raiding Ends for Eminence

Since September 2008 Eminence has been a raiding guild on Magtheridon. We started by recruiting in trade chat as we were slowly levelling and taking things nice and easy. We even had our first Naxxaramas raid with mostly PuGs.

Fast forwarding time, although it didn’t feel like that with all the lag on Magtheridon, we found ourselves taking the free transfer to Trollbane just as we were killing Lich King on normal mode. We went on to finish that tier ranked 178th in the World for heroic modes, which we were proud of. We then took a break, a big one: we even skipped Halion.

Moving into Cataclysm and into 10 man raiding from 25 man, and Tier 11 we killed Sinestra ending the tier ranked 280th in the World however we also got the “I Can’t Hear You Over the Sound of How Awesome I Am” on our 3rd Sinestra kill which was the 21st in the World overall and 7th in 10man only.

Next up was Firelands where we killed Ragnaros heroic 160th in the World. Then came Dragon Soul, which would be our last. We killed 6 bosses here and at the time were ranked at roughly 155th in the World overall.
